I designed this engaging Infographics sheet as a guide for parents to foster their child's creativity.

The value of device-free time:

The quantity of screen time a child receives has a direct impact on their productivity and capacity to think. While permitting as little screen time as possible, it is crucial for parents to recognize and reconsider the same. As it enhances their abilities and aids their early development, children should be encouraged to engage in more outdoor play as well as other screen-free indoor activities.

As screen time increases, less time is spent engaging in physical exercise, which increases the risk of developing a digital addiction. It affects sleep patterns and health as well.

Why to restrict the screen-time?

A child who spends less time on screens can increase their social skills, sleep quality, and opportunity to think freely.

How can be device-free time made possible?

Limits on time and hours can be set by parents. Additionally, they can establish areas in the house where no electronics are allowed, such as at the dinner table, before and during bedtime, during family time, etc. A parent can also provide tech-free activities like crafts, reading, and outdoor activities. Re-create the old times by giving your child any device-free task and discuss the experiences. Use your imagination.

Start with one tech-free day per week to make this feasible, and observe the potential benefits.
